District Championships

From what I can gather, the boys district championship games will be:

CMD: Gate City vs Virginia High
LPD: Appalachia vs Powell Valley
CD: Castlewood vs Twin Springs

BDD semifinals tonight:
Twin Valley vs. Hurley 6:30 p.m.
Honaker vs. Council 8 p.m.

Appy over PV

Refs sucked as usual. What does an Appy player have to do to get a technical...or even a walk called on them for that matter?

Then, after the game, to be a real ungracious winner, Devon Brickey (graduated) proceeds to run his mouth at the PV players and try to start a fight.

If PV had won the game would the refs still suck. Pv up by 11 at on time and its the refs fault they lost. There were bad calls on both sides , there were fouls on PV that were never called.

OK where in my last post did I say PV lost because of the refs? Maybe if they taught some reading comprehension in Appalachia, you would see that.

I honestly think the officiating was bad on both sides of the ball. I do agree that F. Stuart gets by with a lot of walks with that spin move, doesnt matter now of course. I just wished the refs were better. Some individuals from Appy are classless, but some things never change. On to next week and beyond.

OK, maybe if I type it real slow you will get it. I neeveer said PV loooost because offf the refffs. I said the refs sucked as usual. Inconsistant on both ends. I used the what does Appy have to do to get a technical because of an in particular kid from Appy getting in the refs face about 10 times and arguing calls. I used the walks because Forrest's spin move used about 4 steps about 12 times.

I told my dad ( who is a die hard appy fan, played football,baseball basket for appy) before the game that whoever the refs decided were going to win would and he just laughed... well after the game he came up to me and said " you were right, the refs must have really wanted appy to win "
